This is a part-time position working with Junior and Senior Youth, grades 6 – 12. The successful applicant would be available to lead the July VBS at the church.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
The candidate must: enjoy a close relationship with the Lord; have a heart of love for children/youth; have clear goals in children/youth ministry; be gifted by God to bring the best out of children/youth; be willing to serve under the leadership of Avenue Road Baptist Church.
Role and Responsibilities
To create a fun, stimulating and safe environment for young people that will provide an atmosphere where they can invite friends; to challenge the youth to live out their Christian faith; to work in fellowship with volunteers from the congregation; to prepare the teaching materials, resources for lessons and delivery of the lesson; to minister together in Sunday Worship services as a way of modelling to the youth the importance of collective worship and fellowship.

A love and passion for God, demonstrated through their interaction with children/youth.
