Overview of Church and Community
Bromley Road Baptist Church is a vibrant and diverse community in Ottawa’s west end.
We are experiencing a period of growth and renewal since COVID and regularly welcome newcomers to our Sunday morning services.
We are looking for a passionate, dynamic individual to lead our children, youth and their families through this exciting time and to encourage them to grow in their faith journey. We have a newly renovated children’s space for our Sunday morning program, that was made possible by our generous congregation’s faith and belief that God is doing great things among the children and youth of our church. Our youth group meets weekly, occasionally combining with other local churches, and usually attends an annual youth retreat.
We are a very multicultural and diverse congregation, speaking many languages and bringing a vast range of life experiences to the table. This has created a very special and unique culture within our church and is considered one of our greatest strengths.
We have both local and international partners in mission, and offer opportunities to become involved both here at home in our food rescue initiative and abroad through regular mission trips.
We have several active small groups, that meet weekly to grow in faith and community.
Our leadership team has recently developed a strategic plan to help move our church forward with purpose, in line with God’s calling. We strive to grow in worship and intimacy with Christ, anchoring all we do in a vibrant relationship with God. We seek to deepen discipleship and fellowship, building a spiritually mature, relationally connected community. We long to extend mercy and mission, becoming a church known for love and tangible impact in our neighborhood and beyond.
