We require a full-time pastor as soon as possible, God being our guide. Successful applicant will provide preaching/teaching ministry and leadership in evangelism/outreach, and ministries to all ages. You will have to run fast to catch up with our enthusiastic Revitalization Team as they continue to build momentum!

Located in what is now known as Temiskaming Shores, population 10,500. Positioned on the northern shore of Lake Temiskaming our geography and climate provide a wonderful variety of recreational and cultural activities in every season of the year. We live where you want to vacation!

First Baptist Church is small but with a big heart – 30 members, 10 adherents. We are a welcoming church with potential and room for growth and a heart for ministry.

• CBOQ credentials or equivalent
• Master of Divinity degree from an accredited seminary
• Communication skills – oral and written
• Computer skills
• Time management skills

• Worship leader – You will help us grow our capacity for worship through preaching, teaching and mid-week Bible study.
• Evangelism & community outreach – You will use your particular pastoral skills in visitation and counseling, and demonstrate leadership in ministry to children, youth and seniors.
• Administrative – You will attend the following meetings: Deacons (monthly), Board of Management (quarterly), Congregational meetings (quarterly & annual), other denominational meetings as applicable
• Pastoral Care – visitation (homes, hospital, seniors’ facilities), funerals,, weddings, etc.
• Other duties as may be required
