Description
This dual-role position combines administrative support for the church with leadership of the Kids Ministry. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a safe and engaging environment for children.
Note: This is a 2-year contract.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
- A heart for children and commitment to helping them follow Jesus.
- Ability to manage volunteers and multitask effectively.
- Technologically proficient (email, databases, office tools).
- Team-oriented and supportive of the overall church mission.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities - Admin:
- Provide administrative support to staff and ministry leaders.
- Manage weekly communication: phone reception, email updates, announcements, social media, website.
- Oversee scheduling, calendars, and office organization.
- Handle basic bookkeeping, data entry, and record-keeping (attendance, forms, etc.).
- Assist with event planning, registrations, and volunteer coordination within kids ministry.
- Maintain a warm, welcoming presence for visitors and members.
- Organize staff meetings and coordinate staff calendars.
Responsibilities - Kids Ministry:
- Lead and oversee all Kids Ministry programs (Sunday and mid-week).
- Recruit, train, schedule, and encourage volunteer teams.
- Develop biblically faithful, age-appropriate teaching environments.
- Ensure safety policies, check-in systems, and screening procedures are followed.
- Communicate consistently with parents and families.
- Plan special events (VBS, family events, seasonal programs).
- Maintain supplies, curriculum, and Kids Ministry spaces.
- Attend and participate in Sunday services (unless on approved vacation).
