Description

We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to help support and enable the vision and mission of the church, through provision of direct support to the pastors, volunteers and church operations.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant education and/or work experience performing confidential or administrative duties and supporting church leadership.
  • Strong proficiency in computer skills, such as Microsoft Office, presentation software, and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Role and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include performing receptionist duties, maintaining and updating the church database, scheduling/coordinating meetings, events and building use, designing and maintaining advertising and promotional material, providing administrative support to the pastoral team, and church leadership.

Preferred Skills

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in graphic design
  • Experience in web design
  • Experience working with relational databases such as church management software
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping or financial systems
