We are seeking a passionate and spiritually mature Pastor to shepherd our English-speaking congregation with responsibility for youth and post-secondary ministry, and also share preaching, teaching and pastoral care duties. The ideal candidate will be gifted in preaching and teaching, relational in pastoral care, and enthusiastic about intergenerational and intercultural ministry.

North Toronto Chinese Baptist Church ( https://ntcbc.org/ ) is a trilingual church, serving English, Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking congregations. Our identity is one church with three language congregations. In accordance with the teachings of the Bible, this church, with Christ as its head, leads people to the Lord, builds up believers, connects members, and accomplishes the mission entrusted by Jesus Christ.

• A clear calling to pastoral ministry and a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• A Master of Divinity (M Div.) or its equivalent in theological education from an Association of Theological Schools (ATS) accredited institution.
• Experience in multicultural and/or multilingual ministry contexts.
• Strong leadership, discipleship, and communication skills.
• Able to work in a team and adapt to a diverse church environment.
• Eligible to work in Canada

• Preach and teach regularly in the English congregation
• Provide spiritual care and discipleship for English-speaking members (youth, young adults, adults)
• Collaborate with English pastoral team and lay leaders in English Ministry oversight in ministries such as small groups, Christian education, worship and evangelism
• Provide ministry oversight to the Youth and Post-Secondary Ministry
• Support the integration and unity of all language congregations
• Engage in leadership development and mentoring of lay leaders
