We are seeking a passionate and spiritually mature Pastor to shepherd our Cantonese-speaking congregation with responsibility for ministry, and also share preaching, teaching and pastoral care duties. The ideal candidate will be gifted in preaching and teaching, relational in pastoral care, and enthusiastic about intergenerational and intercultural ministry.

North Toronto Chinese Baptist Church http://ntcbc.org) is a trilingual church, serving English, Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking congregations.

Our identity is one church with three language congregations. In accordance with the teachings of the Bible, this church, with Christ as its head, leads people to the Lord, builds up believers, connects members, and accomplishes the mission entrusted by Jesus Christ.

• Holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or equivalent from a seminary accredited by the Association of Theological Seminaries (ATS).
• Clearly understands the calling to pastor the church and is willing to commit to humble servanthood.
• Possesses the pastoral burden of teaching, preaching, caring and youth group ministry.
• Has the gifts and experience to lead discipleship and small group ministry.
• Demonstrates teamwork skills and adapts to serving in a multicultural and trilingual church environment.
• Holds legal work status in Canada.
