Children Let’s Raise Our Voices

By Mickayla Reid, Immanuel Baptist Church

Her hands are blessed, her heart is strong,

She loves with grace, she stands with God.

Like Ruth humble, like Abigail intelligent,

Throughout hard times, she still remains elegant.

A mother’s heart, strong like gold,

With love so tender, so strong, never goes old.

She clothes your back, and she dries your tears,

She lifts you up through all your years.

Through trials and tribulations, she will stand tall,

A lighthouse of strength, she picks me up when I fall.

Like Tabitha, helping the poor. My mother gives onto me, so one day I can pour.

No gifts can give, no words can say,

How much love she gives to me everyday.

Forever strong, her love forever faithful,

My mother’s love will always have a seat at my table.

Her love like a river, continuously flows,

Throughout very moment of life, her tenderness continues to grow.

To mothers all over, your hard-work is acknowledge,

Because, in your love, we are encouraged.
