What Are CBOQ Grants?

CBOQ’s grants program empowers churches to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40). Over the past 25 years, we’ve distributed over $5 million to more than 160 churches, resourcing them for mission and growth.

Types of Grants

1. Planting Grants – Support for launching or re-planting churches.
   • Up to $24,000 per year (for up to 2 years)
   • Includes coaching and consultation
2. Revitalization Grants – Helps churches reconnect with their communities.
   • Up to $2,400 per year (for up to 1 year)
   • Includes coaching and resources
3. Ministry Grants – Supports new or expanding church programs.
   • Up to $6,000 per year (for up to 2 years)
   • Includes consultation and coaching
4. Internship Grants – Develops leaders within church ministries.
   • Supports interns serving in a church
   • Includes mentorship and coaching
5. Micro-Grants – Small funding boosts for specific ministry needs.
   • Categories: Communications, Missional Generosity, Student Initiatives
   • Priority given to churches that haven’t received a grant in 10 years

How to Apply

1. Develop (0-6 months): Identify a ministry need and submit a proposal.
2. Implement (1-2 years): Receive funds to execute your plan.
3. Evaluate (6-12 months): Share progress through reports.
