Description
We require a full-time pastor as soon as possible, God being our guide. Successful applicant will provide preaching/teaching ministry, and leadership in evangelism/outreach which will minister to children, youth & seniors. You will have to run fast to catch up with our enthusiastic Revitalization Team as they grow deeper into this special 3 yr. CBOQ program. They are building momentum weekly!
Overview of Church and Community
Located in what is now known as Temiskaming Shores (formerly New Liskeard), population 10,500. Positioned on the north-western corner shores of Lake Temiskaming, our climate provides a wonderful variety of recreational and cultural activities in every season of the year. We live where you want to vacation! Hospital and schools (kindergarten to college) and other amenities are centrally located.

We are currently a small congregation but we are a welcoming church with room for growth & a heart for ministry.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- CBOQ credentials or equivalent
- Master of Divinity degree from an accredited seminary
- Communication skills, both oral and written
- Computer skills
Role and Responsibilities
Worship leader – you will help us grow our capacity for worship through preaching & teaching on Sundays and mid-week bible study.
Evangelism & community outreach – using your pastoral skills in visitation & counseling, and demonstrating leadership in ministry to all ages.
Administration – attending regular meetings of Deacons (monthly), Management (1/4ly) & Congregational (1/4ly & annual). Conducting weddings and funerals, & Other duties as may be required.
