Description
The Ministry Lead will provide overall leadership to Boomerang Day Camp at Harmony Baptist Church, in collaboration with three summer staff members. The Lead will plan age appropriate Christ centered spiritual programming for the six weeks of camp (two weeks of Little Roos, ages 4 – 6, three weeks of Big Boomers, ages 7 – 9, and one week of Extreme, ages 10 – 13). Camp runs July 7 – August 20. Flexible schedule beginning May 26, plus full-time June 26 – August 22.
ADDITIONAL MINISTRY ACTIVITIES AT HARMONY COULD EXPAND THIS ROLE TO A FOUR MONTH FULL –TIME POSITION, MAY 5 TO AUGUST 29, 2025.

Boomerang Day Camp is dedicated to meeting the needs of Hamilton families, by providing a safe, affordable, summer day camp for children ages 4 – 13. We provide field trips, recreation, creative programming, crafts and spiritual content.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Senior university student, or graduate, with previous children’s ministry experience.
Role and Responsibilities
The Ministry Lead will provide overall leadership to Boomerang Day Camp, will plan age appropriate spiritual content, will supervise and mentor the Senior Camp Leader, the two Camp Leaders, and the Leaders in Training, and will assist them in organizing each day’s camp schedule. They will participate in daily activities, both on and off-site.
Preferred Skills
Previous children’s ministry experience, with strong leadership and communication skills. Highly motivated, creative, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
