The reader is invited to join with them. \nSensible Shoes is an unusual novel\, blending a fictional story with nonfiction teaching elements. Some readers view it only as a story of four characters on a journey. Others say yes to a deeper level of reading\, embracing the opportunity to take a “sacred journey” along with the characters\, by opening themselves to the Spirit’s work and attending to God’s invitation. This book will give you the opportunity to learn how to encounter Jesus is life-giving ways. This book is an invitation to experience transformation both individually and in community. \n“The sacred journey is a pilgrimage for those who are thirsty for more of God. This journey is for all those who are dissatisfied with living on the surface and who want to travel deeper into God’s heart.
