Can evangelism be saved?

Featuring Rev. Dr. John Bowen

Webinar January 30th 2018 11am ET

Amidst the drive for relevancy and the shift in the church towards being missional is evangelism in danger of being lost along the way? Couple this with the rise of the ‘nones’ and the ‘dones’, how can we respond? What good ways can we find to verbalize the gospel today?

During this webinar you will hear from John Bowen and be able to ask him questions about:

  1. Why evangelism seems to be in danger.
  2. What is the partnership between words and actions?
  3. Key strategies for sharing the gospel today

John Bowen was Professor of Evangelism and Director of the Institute of Evangelism at Wycliffe College from 1997 till 2013, and then Director of Wycliffe Serves! until 2016. He has written a number of books including ‘Evangelism For Normal People’. Now retired, he is happily engaged in preaching, teaching, mentoring and writing. John is married to Deborah, an English professor. They have two adult children and four grandchildren.

The LPTP seeks to equip those presently serving in pastoral and leadership ministry and those who seek to prepare for such ministry within the CBOQ.
To help you follow through on a commitment to further growth and maturity in Christ, we’ve developed a Personal Growth Plan for pastors and lay leaders. A personal growth plan is one way that we as leaders can model our desire to continue walking towards maturity and wholeness. Focusing on spiritual, intellectual, relational and ministry goals, this personal growth plan assists people in focusing their life and energy.
