On Thursday, July 26, the interior of Kingsway Baptist Church in Etobicoke was severely vandalized with paint strewn around the interior of the building, fire extinguishers set off and angry messages strewn on the basement walls. The church has been disheartened by this act of aggression, but continues to exude love for their neighbourhood and extend forgiveness to the perpetrator(s) of this vandalism.
“We are grateful that coming through all of this is a strong message of forgiveness and love,” remarks Tim McCoy, Executive Minister for CBOQ. “Kingsway has exemplified what it looks like to follow the way of Jesus and model His compassion amidst trying circumstances.”
