Overview of Church and Community

The Durham Baptist Church is affiliated with C.B.O.Q. and is located in the town of Durham, in the municipality of West Grey, Ontario.
We currently have 54 members, a good number of adherents, and we celebrated our 160th Anniversary this past September.
We are a Christ-centered, Bible-believing church that seeks to fulfill the purposes of God. We aim to experience what it is to be God’s family, to learn how to follow Jesus, to serve others through spiritual giftedness, and to worship God in Scripturally meaningful ways.
We have recently revised our By-laws to be ONCA-compliant and they include the development of an Elders Board for congregational and pastoral support.
This small and very friendly community has much to offer with improvements to its school, a new medical clinic, its own police force and volunteer fire department, to name only a few.
A two-hour drive in any direction from Durham, will take you to larger cities, recreation in all seasons, airports, sporting events and more.
